On 01/26/07 at 01:40 TIDE telemetry spin packets stopped being reported in the Polar telemetry data, possibly the result of a GTM upset. See t0701260140.eng for a list of the TIDE enegineering data. The first three major frames (01:40:14, 01:40:23, 01:40:32) are okay. The next major frame (01:10:42) is a transition where just some of the housekeeping data is missing. Starting with the major frame at 01:40:51 and continuing until the TIDE reset was completed at 14:35:38, only satellite housekeeping was reported in telemetry (input current, +5V monitor, 4 temperatures). See t0701261435.eng for the housekeeping data after the reset. From 01:40:32 until 14:35:38, no TIDE spin data was received. t0701260000_0140_sp.eshtr.gif is a spectrogram of the data just prior to the telemetry problem. It doesn't show any problems. From 14:30 to 15:02 the high voltage was turned off, TIDE was reset, software patches were loaded, and TIDE was set up for the HV ramp. Due to the lack of DSN real-time coverage, the high voltage was not ramped until 01/29 from 15:15 to 16:31. At that time, Polar was near a dayside apogee so that the mirrors didn't step backup fully because of high counts. They did come back up later. t0701291529_2230_sp.eshtr.gif is a spectrogram of LZ data during and after the HV ramp until the start of the radiation belt. t0701311613_1715_sp.eshtr.gif is a spectrogram of NRT data from a quieter period 2 hours after perigee.
