The mask density software is a modification of the TIDE processing software. It calculates the moments of the sun pulse. For stops, the moments are calculated using a 64 spin average beginning 30 seconds after the start of a background check. For hydrogen, the moments are calculated using a 32 spin average beginning 6 minutes after background check commanding starts. For the large sun pulse, the moments calculation ranges are: energy: 42.10 - 373.0 eV spin angle: 191.25 - 247.5 deg polar angle: 0.0 - 157.5 deg For the small sun pulse, the moments calculation ranges are: energy: 0.0 - 373.0 eV spin angle: 247.5 - 360.0 deg polar angle: 0.0 - 157.5 deg mask_moments_all.dat and mask_moments_sm_all.dat contain the moments for all the Stops background checks. mask_mom_h.dat contains the moments for hydrogen. A plot of a mask from the middle of each month for Stops are in http://satyr.msfc.nasa.gov/tideteam/masks/mask_plots
